The Five Steps
A call goes unanswered
You're on a job, with a client, or closed. Your phone forwards the unanswered call (conditional call forwarding, set up once). Your number stays the same.
The caller gets a text in seconds
"Hi, it's [Your Business]. Sorry we missed your call, we're on a job. What can we help with? Reply STOP to opt out." You approve the wording.
Your questions, one at a time
Is it an emergency? Name, address and best time to call back? A photo of the problem? Each question waits for the answer before the next.
You're alerted right away, then get a summary
You get "Missed call from +1…" straight away, then one text with everything the caller answered, marked urgent if they said it's an emergency.
Nothing slips through
If the caller stops replying, you get what they answered after 30 minutes. If the text can't be delivered, usually a landline, you're told to call back.

Handles opt-outs (STOP)
The first text says "Reply STOP to opt out." If they do, it stops right away and sends nothing more.
